Hi, I'm Tyler

I’m Tyler — a system administrator who spends his off-hours building the native Linux apps I wish already existed. Most of my projects are GTK4/libadwaita desktop clients for GNOME: a Google Messages client (Chirp), a SiriusXM player (Satwave), and a Jellyfin music app (Timbre). I build native because I’m tired of every desktop app being a browser in a trench coat — I want software that’s fast, integrates with the system, keeps its config in plain text, and respects the machine it runs on. When I’m not writing C, Go, or Python, I’m self-hosting things I’d rather own than rent and keeping a small fleet of networks and servers honest.
